Joy Reuter of Pensacola took these top seven photos of a whale shark in the Gulf of Mexico on June 27, submitted to PNJ."I was on my wave runner about 5 miles offshore southeast of Pensacola Beach," Reuter writes. "He was very docile. Twice I jumped into the water with it and held on to its dorsal fin until it started to take me down.
